ColdDMs vs DM Faster
Compare two Instagram outreach workflows, then decide whether you need a campaign subscription or just an audience export. DM Faster Basic is the Instagram plan; its standalone extractor is a separate purchase.

Compare Instagram plans with Instagram plans.
ColdDMs publishes Pro at $99 per month for one Instagram account and a three-day trial. Its campaign features include sequences, message variants, and UniBox reply management; its FAQ says the computer must remain open.
DM Faster Basic is €99 / month for one sender, personalized text campaigns, unlimited target lists, tracking, and 10,000 monthly lead credits. Enterprise's company database and other outreach channels are a separate plan, not part of this Basic comparison.
Basic sends through the DM Faster Chrome extension using your own signed-in Instagram account. Keep that browser open and the sender connected while campaigns run. The extension-free option is standalone extraction, which does not send DMs.

DM Faster Instagram extractor
Before buying a sender
You can buy the audience list on its own.
Enter an Instagram username or post, choose followers, following, likers, or commenters, and enter the number of profiles you want. The extractor shows the quote before checkout, with a $5 minimum payment.
A free DM Faster account is required before payment. Extraction uses no buyer Instagram login or Chrome extension. To send DMs later in Basic, install the DM Faster Chrome extension and sign in to your Instagram account in that browser profile.

Review a table of usernames, available display names, and profile links, or download CSV.
Use an agent
The documented purchase-token API/MCP interface can quote an extraction and retrieve status and JSON results; checkout remains part of the purchase.

Import the downloaded CSV when you are ready to review targets and prepare outreach. Buying extraction does not buy a Basic subscription.
A useful trial
Compare the same audience and the same message.
Use a small audience that matches your offer. Check what each plan includes, how the sender stays connected, and where replies appear before increasing campaign size.
Record relevant replies and agreed next steps, not just sent-message totals. We have not run an independent reply-rate benchmark between these products.

Questions and answers
Before you start.
Short, direct answers about Instagram cold DM tools and DM Faster.
How much do ColdDMs and DM Faster Basic cost?
ColdDMs Pro lists $99 per month for one Instagram account. DM Faster Basic lists €99 / month for one sender and includes 10,000 monthly lead credits. Both advertise a three-day trial. Prices use different currencies; check each checkout for the final amount and taxes.
Can I switch my Instagram audience list to DM Faster?
Basic can import a CSV of Instagram usernames. Review the exported list for relevance, duplicates, existing customers, and opt-outs before preparing a campaign; importing a list does not send messages.
Does ColdDMs run with my computer closed?
Its public FAQ says the computer must remain open because sending uses its Chrome extension. Verify the current runtime requirements before subscribing.
What does DM Faster Basic include?
Basic costs €99 / month and includes one Instagram sender, 10,000 monthly lead credits, personalized text campaigns, unlimited target lists, and campaign tracking. A three-day free trial is available. Enterprise's company database and other outreach channels are separate.
Can I scrape Instagram followers without connecting my Instagram account?
Yes, with the standalone extractor. Choose followers, following, post likers, or commenters and a quantity to see the price. Extraction requires a free DM Faster account before checkout, but no Instagram login, password, browser extension, or subscription. To send DMs in Basic, install the DM Faster Chrome extension and sign in to your Instagram account.
Can I buy just an Instagram audience list?
Yes. Standalone extraction has a $5 minimum payment and an upfront quantity quote. You can view results in a table, download CSV, or retrieve JSON through the documented purchase-token API/MCP interface. A subscription is optional; an extraction purchase does not include a Basic subscription.
What data is in an Instagram extraction?
The current output contains usernames, display names when available, and profile URLs. Commenter extraction returns profiles, not comment text. Email addresses, private information, replies, and sales results are not guaranteed.
Can I use Basic for Instagram mass DMs?
Basic supports personalized Instagram text campaigns to a reviewed target list. Use an account you are authorized to manage, choose relevant recipients, and respect sending restrictions and opt-outs. No tool can promise unlimited delivery or remove platform risk.
Does DM Faster need a Chrome extension to send Instagram DMs?
Yes. Instagram campaigns use the DM Faster Chrome extension and your signed-in Instagram account in the same browser profile. Keep the browser open and the sender connected while campaigns run. The standalone extractor collects profiles without your Instagram login or an extension; an extraction purchase does not include DM sending.
