Instagram comments export
A comments export saves what people wrote under a post. An audience export saves profile records. Choose the data that answers your question.
DM Faster currently offers followers and following exports only. New comment-text and commenter exports are not available. If you need an audience list, you can export available profiles from a public account instead.
Comments, commenters and followers are different datasets.
For sentiment analysis, you need the comment text. For an audience list, you need profiles. A list of usernames cannot tell you what somebody said or whether they commented more than once.
| Dataset | Useful fields to check | DM Faster availability |
|---|---|---|
| Comment text | Text, author, post URL, timestamp, reply relationship | Not offered |
| Commenter profiles | Username and profile URL; duplicate-author handling | Not offered for new exports |
| Followers or following | Username, available name, Instagram profile URL | Available through the audience extractor |
These are field-selection criteria, not sample output or a promise about another tool.
Check a comments file before using it.
- Match the source. Keep the original post URL and the extraction date with the file.
- Check the row unit. One row per comment and one row per author produce different counts.
- Inspect replies and duplicates. Check whether replies are included and whether repeated authors remain separate.
- Check what is missing. Compare the saved rows with the visible source. Deleted, hidden or unavailable comments can leave gaps.
Keep the original file before filtering it in Excel or Google Sheets. A displayed comment count alone does not prove the export contains every comment.
Need profiles rather than comment text?
The Instagram follower export tool saves usernames, available names and profile links as a table, CSV or paginated JSON. It needs no Instagram login or browser extension. The price is $19 per 10,000 requested profiles, with a $5 minimum. Available results can be fewer than requested.
Inspect our real three-profile following export from October 4, 2026, including its original CSV and verification method. It is a following-list sample, not a comments export. We do not publish a comment sample for an unavailable service.
Questions about Instagram comments export.
Can I export Instagram comments to Excel with DM Faster?
No. DM Faster’s current standalone extractor exports followers and following profiles, not comment text. Its profile CSV opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
Can I collect everyone who commented on a post?
New commenter-profile exports are not offered. A follower list is a different audience and should not be treated as a list of commenters.
Is comment export included in the follower price?
No. The quoted price applies to requested follower or following profiles. It does not buy comment text, replies or post engagement data.
