Instagram following export
Instagram following. In one list.
Export the accounts a public Instagram profile follows to a table, CSV or JSON. No Instagram login or Chrome extension required.
Free DM Faster account before payment. No subscription. Use your results through MCP.
Following is the list they chose.
Following means the accounts your source profile follows. Followers means the people following that profile. Choose Following to review a brand’s connections, discover accounts a creator follows, or save your own public following list for research.
For example, exporting @instagram’s following list returns accounts followed by @instagram. It does not return everyone who follows @instagram. A follow is a research signal, not proof of a partnership or buying intent.

A real following-list export.
On , DM Faster requested three profiles from @instagram’s Following audience and saved all three. Here is the actual output: usernames, available names and profile links.
Your results table and CSV include username, name when available, and Instagram profile URL. This extraction offer provides audience profiles; it does not promise an email address or phone number for each account.
| Username | Name | Instagram profile |
|---|---|---|
| @boynextdoor_official | BOYNEXTDOOR | instagram.com/boynextdoor_official/ |
| @design | Instagram’s @design | instagram.com/design/ |
| @gabbyhe_ | Gabby He | instagram.com/gabbyhe_/ |

Verified against the completed job, exact saved count and browser table. This test used three existing monthly credits; it does not establish completion rates for larger lists or a new standalone paid order. These profiles are unqualified audience records.
How to download an Instagram following list.
- Enter the source profile. Use the username of a public Instagram account. Following is already selected. Enter how many profiles you want; you can request any positive whole quantity.
- Review the quote. Select Show my price. The base price is $19 per 10,000 requested profiles, with a $5 minimum payment. Create a free DM Faster account with Google or email, or sign in, then continue to checkout. Local currency and applicable tax are calculated there.
- Review and export the saved rows. Payment starts extraction. When it finishes, open the results table and download CSV for Excel or Google Sheets. Check the saved count: accessible results may be fewer than requested.
For the dated example above, the source was instagram, the audience was following, and the requested quantity was 3. Its CSV and JSON are available without starting or paying for another extraction.
Before exporting a following list.
Can I export someone else’s following list?
Choose a public account. DM Faster collects available profiles on its servers without your Instagram password or session. It does not use your account to access private content or bypass restrictions.
Will I receive their entire following list?
A complete list is not guaranteed. The requested quantity is an upper limit, and availability can change. You can download collected rows even when fewer are available. Unused profile allowance stays with that purchase for another extraction; it is not an automatic cash refund.
Does the file show when they followed each account?
No follow-date history is promised. The export contains usernames, available names and profile URLs. Do not interpret row order as the order in which someone followed those accounts.
Can I compare two following lists?
Export each source separately, then compare the username columns in your spreadsheet. The downloaded files can support that analysis; this tool does not automatically monitor follow or unfollow changes.
Can an agent read the results?
Yes. Connect the purchasing DM Faster account through OAuth and use the purchase readers to list jobs, inspect their status and retrieve paginated JSON. A purchase-scoped token is also supported. See the exact tools and access requirements. A completed retrieval inside ChatGPT remains unverified.
Turn a researched list into outreach.
Review each profile for relevance before contacting anyone. If you want to send personalized Instagram text campaigns, you can import your CSV into DM Faster Basic.
Sending requires the DM Faster Chrome extension and your signed-in Instagram account in the same browser profile. Keep that browser open and connected. The standalone extraction purchase does not include a Basic subscription or sending.
