The month's own change compares the enterprise count with the same month one year earlier. The page also shows table 13fb's moving annual change, which describes the 12-month sum rather than the single month.

How a month is assembled
The series repeats the months Statistics Finland has published. A month is included only when table 13fb has a numeric enterprise count.
1. Published month
The latest 12 months in table 13fb whose enterprise count is a number. An unfinished month is not in the table.
2. Place
Municipalities come from table 13fe at the all-industries total. Regions use Statistics Finland's 2025 municipality-to-region classification.
3. Industry
TOL sections and 3-digit classes come from table 13fd at the all-legal-forms total.
4. Year-over-year
The comparison is the same month 12 months earlier. The moving annual change is copied from the table.
What the count is not
- The count is a proceeding instigated, not a proceeding concluded or a company removed from the register.
- Company and person names are not published. Legal form appears only as a count.
