Lead sources

Choose the source that matches your audience

Manual or CSV

Best when you already know the people or accounts you want to reach.

Find Leads

Use a supported social source to discover profiles and import them into a list.

Company Database

Filter companies by geography, industry, size, and available outreach signals.

Derived lists

Create a focused list from an existing audience without losing the original list.

Company Database totals remain unavailable until DM Faster has an exact count for the selected filters. Wait for the final total before using total-dependent actions.

Import

Give each channel enough information

A profile can be useful for one channel and unavailable for another. Include stable identifiers wherever possible and review the imported preview before saving.

  • Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn profile URLs and usernames are normalized during import.
  • Email outreach requires a valid recipient email address.
  • A first name improves personalization, but review every message so a missing value still reads naturally.
  • Company name and website help DM Faster keep cross-channel activity together.
  • Duplicate rows should describe the same real person or company before they are merged or skipped.

List management

Review readiness before using a list

  1. 1

    Open the list

Check its total, channel-specific profile counts, and any enrichment state.
  2. 2

    Inspect sample profiles

Confirm that profile links, names, companies, and email addresses point to the intended people.
  3. 3

    Remove unsuitable profiles

Remove test records, existing customers, colleagues, or anyone who should not receive the campaign.
  4. 4

    Enrich only when useful

Use enrichment to add missing contact signals, then review the result before creating a campaign.
A list used by a campaign cannot always be deleted immediately. Remove or update the dependent campaign first so its audience does not become ambiguous.

Quality

Smaller, relevant lists usually perform better

Filters and enrichment help you narrow an audience, but they do not replace human review. Build a list around one clear offer, region, role, or customer problem. Avoid combining unrelated audiences only to increase the total.

When an import is still processing, let it finish or use its Continue/Refresh action. Repeatedly starting the same import can make it harder to understand which result is current.
