What the figures cover

  • Each company counts once per month per notice type. Summing categories or months does not give distinct companies.
  • TOIM is limited to change notices (M) and Business IDs at least 12 months old at the start of the month. Young companies and unknown dates are excluded so new-company first appointments are not treated as changes. This also excludes genuine changes in young companies. A notice may also concern corrections or an ending; it does not alone prove a new appointment.
  • SULSUU is a merger plan, not a completed merger. OANTI records new shares, not the amount of funding raised. KONALK is a Trade Register entry, not StatFin's proceedings-instigated measure.
  • No company or person names are published. This is an aggregate report, not personal profiling. Registration can occur after the underlying event.
